Ronaldo, 33, has been training in Turin after his £99million switch from the Bernabeu and wanted to snub a meeting with his old club so soon after the switch.

Juventus took the lead in this International Champions Cup clash as Dani Carvajal turned the ball into his own net after diving in recklessly at Joao Cancelo’s low cross.

So, Bale took matters into his own hands as he latched on to a loose ball on the edge of the box to fire into Wojciech Szczesny’s top corner after Mehdi Benatia’s challenge came to late.

New Real signing Vincius Junior then got in on the act in the second half as he squared the ball for Asensio to tap in from close range.

Asensio coolly started and finished the move as Juve’s defence were caught napping.

Less than 10 minutes later, Asensio doubled up his tally.

Dani Ceballos sprayed a lovely pass out from the middle to Lucas, whose cross found Asensio for the finish.

But Szczesny should have done better as the ball trickled under his body and in.

The result follows a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United for Real Madrid as they get set to play cross-town rivals Atletico in the Uefa Super Cup on August 15, before starting their La Liga campaign against Getafe four days later.

Juventus will play their youth team at their annual match at the home of the Agnelli family before Ronaldo gets set to make his full debut against Chievo in Serie A.
