Polo Club Worker Was Abused By Paedophile Bar Boss While Prince Charles Drank Next Door

A POLO club worker has told how he was abused by a paedophile bar boss as Prince Charles drank next door.

The victim was just 14 when Alwyn Clayton started grooming him with cash and plying him with drink and drugs.

The man, who cannot be named, took a job at Cirencester Park, Gloucs, in the 1990s. He said: “I remember being in the back room with the door shut.

“Clayton was abusing me when Charles was having a drink, and William and Harry were playing polo.

“I wanted to tell the royals what Clayton was doing but I was stuck.”

He said the abuse began when Clayton “borrowed” boys to work in the bar.

Police Alwyn Clayton was convicted of indecent assault

The victim added: “I shouldn’t have been in there aged 14 but they didn’t bat an eyelid.

“Clayton called me his ‘special boy’ and gave me a job serving Charles Pimm’s on a silver tray.”

The victim said Clayton would add £40 to his wages and give him weed.

He added: “One time we were drunk, he said, ‘What do you think I was giving you this money for?’ He’d had enough of not getting anything back.”

PA Prince Charles, in Scotland on Saturday, had no clue the abuse was taking place

The abuse continued for two years until cops saw Clayton leaving the boy’s home.

He admitted indecent assault and got three years’ jail in 2010.

He died five years later aged 65.

The victim added: “He only admitted two counts but it happened many more times — in lay-bys, truck stops, at his house.”

The victim has rebuilt his life after cocaine and gambling addictions.
