PUT down the tweezers because there’s a new eyebrow trend taking over and thankfully it doesn’t require any plucking at all.
“Lion mane” brows are all the rage and focus on enhancing naturally bushy brows – praise the lord!
brooklynkellyy/Instagram Bushy brows are all the rage, and the latest trend is to scuplt them into lion mane brows, as demonstrated by Instagram user Brooklyn Kelly
The best part of the fad is that it actually involves brushing your hairs to make them look fuller.
And there’s no threading, waxing or hair removal of any kind needed.
The name comes from the striking look resembling a fluffy lion’s mane.
The look has been championed by the likes of model Bambi Northwood-Blyth, whose trademark large brows have helped her standout in the industry.
So how can you replicate the look at home?
Firstly let your eyebrows do their thing, and don’t be tempted to prune them at all.
You should style the hairs using a setting gel to push them upwards to hold them in place and make them look more volumised.
If you are a bit sparce in the brow hair department, don’t worry. You can fill in your brows using a thin pencil to replicate the look.
