LONG-TERM Chelsea target Kalidou Koulibaly has signed a new Napoli contract.
The centre-back had been in Chelsea’s sights ever since Antonio Conte took charge two years ago.

The Blues failed with a bid during the Italian’s first transfer window, resulting in them re-signing David Luiz from Paris Saint-Germain.
Conte was desperate to sign Koulibaly again last summer but wasn’t backed by the board, resulting in a disastrous season which culminated with his exit.
It was believed that new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri also wanted former player Koulibaly at Stamford Bridge after beating Manchester City to Jorginho.
But the Senegal international will now be staying at Napoli for the next five years, with the club rejecting a number of offers in the process.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed: “He has renewed with us for the next five years. He is the best in his role.
“We said no to a 90million euros offer for him. There were three teams ready to take him, but we kept him.
“Let’s enjoy this team, there are those who work for us and are ready to give everything to win.”
De Laurentiis also claimed a deal has been struck for Lille right-back Malcuit, adding: “He will arrive on a permanent deal, 12m euros plus bonuses for a total of 13m euros.”
