EAMONN Holmes has revealed he’s got shingle as he showed fans his painfully swollen face.
The 58-year-old TV star was forced to stop work on This Morning last week after falling ill with the virus.

Shingles is a painful acute inflammation of the nerve ganglia, which causes swelling and painful lumps to appear across the body.
Eamonn revealed the worst of the swelling was across his face and underneath his right eye.
He posted the picture on Instagram this evening and told his followers:” I know I look as though I’ve been in a scrap but honestly I haven’t.
“It’s worse than that – it’s Shingles.”

His fans inundated him with messages of support and said they were wishing him a speedy recovery.
One told him: “I hope you feel better very soon. Try and relax,” while another said: “Get well Eamonn…and be careful with that eye only use what your doctor gives you.”
Others warned him he should slow down, with many pointing out individuals become more susceptible to shingles when they’re run down.
And with his hectic schedule, working on Good Morning Britain and This Morning, Eamonn is certainly a very busy man.

Eamonn was replaced by Rylan Clark-Neal on the hit ITV daytime show last week.
The This Morning presenter boasted an income of £2million last year compared to £1million in 2016 because of his jam-packed schedule.
As well as his radio and TV work, Eamonn owns a company called Red, White and Green and Holmes and Away with wife Ruth.
Eamonn and Ruth met in 1997 through a mutual friend and their son Jack was born in 2002.
