A THEME park is to deploy six “intelligent” crows to pick up ciggie butts and rubbish, it emerged this week.
Chiefs at Puy du Fou historical park in Vendee, France, came up with the novel idea to spruce up the grounds.

They selected six “particularly intelligent” rooks to train up for the scheme.
The candidates rewarded with a nugget of food each time they deposited a piece of litter in a bin.
Park president Nicolas de Villiers said: “The goal is not just to clear up, because the visitors are generally careful to keep things clean.”
Instead, he said he hoped the initiative would show visitors “nature itself can teach us to take care of the environment”.
