Brighton Pride 2018 Parade Start Time, Route Map, All Road Closures And How To Get There

MORE than 300,000 people are expected to attend Brighton Pride 2018 which will feature performances from Britney Spears and Nile Rodgers.

The event takes place over this weekend at the seaside town on the south coast. Here’s all the info you need ahead of the big day.

When does the parade start and what is the route map?

Brighton Pride 2018 started on Friday, August 3 and ends on Sunday, August 5.

The parade, known as Pride Community Parade, takes place on Saturday, August 4.

It starts at 11am from Hove Lawns.

Will there be road closures for the parade on Saturday?

Yes. There will be a number of road closures for the main parade.

Access to some parts of the city will be restricted or not possible during specific times of the day.

These listings are subject to change if the police or highways authority consider public safety issues exist.

There will be rolling road closures for these roads between 9am to 4pm on Saturday 4 August.

Also bus services will face some disruption including all eastbound services that travel along St James’s Street and the A259.
