Three individuals have been injured after an accident at a nuclear energy plant in Lancashire.



Operator EDF Vitality mentioned the employees on the Heysham 1 facility close to Lancaster had been damage after a “launch of unpolluted steam from a non-nuclear a part of the plant” on Monday night.


It added: “The three colleagues who had been injured have been taken to hospital the place they’re receiving remedy for his or her accidents.

Two of the employees had been taken to hospital in Preston and the opposite in Wythenshawe.
