Police conducting an anti-slavery operation rescued 17 individuals throughout daybreak raids on Wednesday.



5 addresses had been raided in Larger Manchester together with an extra two addresses searched later. One property was a takeaway.


Specialists from Larger Manchester Police (GMP) and the British Pink Cross are with these rescued.


Two males have been arrested on suspicion of offences underneath the Trendy Slavery Act 2015.
