A person who injured seven folks after intentionally driving his automobile right into a crowd exterior a pub has been jailed for 12 years.



James Bates, of Littlestone, Kent, ploughed into the Cinque Port Arms in New Romney Excessive Road, Kent, on 24 November 2017.



Canterbury Crown Courtroom heard that minutes earlier he had been ejected by employees after entering into numerous altercations with different prospects.



Bates then accelerated his silver Vauxhall Corsa, racing in the direction of the group at 33mph.

The incident was caught on CCTV. 



Following his arrest, Bates informed investigators that he couldn’t clarify why he had pushed on the crowd of individuals.

The 25-year-old was additionally disqualified from driving for 5 years.
