A dolphin was discovered shot useless on a California seaside — and an animal rescue group is now providing a reward for data resulting in the arrest and conviction of the gunman.

The dolphin’s stays have been discovered on Manhattan Seaside about 20 miles south of Los Angeles, El Segundo-based Marine Animal Rescue wrote on Fb on Friday.

A necropsy later revealed that the ocean mammal had been killed by a gunshot wound, the animal rescue group stated.

“There may be NO excuse for such brutality towards these lovely animals,” the group wrote in its put up.

The animal rescue added it’s going to provide a reward of $5,000 if a tipster comes ahead with data that results in the arrest and conviction of the one that shot the dolphin.
