A child boy has suffered life-threatening head accidents after being mauled by a canine.

The infant was attacked within the early hours of Monday morning at a house within the Yaxley space of Cambridgeshire.

Paramedics who went to the scene known as in law enforcement officials at 1.45am.

The boy was first taken to Peterborough Metropolis Hospital earlier than being transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital and is in a crucial situation.

Cambridgeshire Police took two Staffordshire Bull Terriers from the property in Wykes Highway, and two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of kid neglect.

A 28-year-old girl and a 31-year-old man have been bailed till 15 December.

Police say the canines had been taken to police kennels.
